My name is Emma, and I'm passionate about creating meaningful and impactful designs.

When I'm not designing, I enjoy cooking, spending time with my family, working out, watching documentaries and exploring nature. I find inspiration in the simple moments and the world around me.

Internship

2025

VJU, Uppsala

During my internship at VJU, I had the chance to work on a diverse range of tasks, including creating illustrations and shadowing my mentor in branding. I was involved in developing fictional visual identities and exploring UI/UX design and animations, allowing me to expand my skill set in these areas. Additionally, I created polished illustrations and designed social media posts for clients, gaining valuable experience in creating visual content for different platforms and purposes. This internship provided me with hands-on experience in both creative and technical aspects of design.

Education

2024 - Present

Brobygrafiska, Sunne

I am currently studying to become a Graphic Designer/Technician at Brobygrafiska, with an expected graduation in 2026. The program has provided me with a strong foundation in graphic design principles, as well as technical skills in design software and production processes. This education has equipped me with the knowledge to create effective and visually appealing design solutions.

Internship

2023 - 2024

Sundsvalls Kommun, Sundsvall

During my four-month internship at Sundsvall Municipality, I worked closely with the graphic designer and collaborated with communicators on various projects. I was responsible for designing a comprehensive political strategy that was later printed, as well as creating signage, social media posts, and photography assignments. Additionally, I wrote content and developed campaigns for the municipality’s website and social media platforms, gaining valuable experience in public sector communication and design.

Uppsala University, Uppsala

I completed a Bachelor's degree in Media and Communication at Uppsala University, with a focus on communication. During my studies, I developed a deep understanding of communication strategies, media theory, and the role of digital platforms in shaping modern communication practices. This education has strengthened my ability to approach projects from both a creative and analytical perspective.
