Introduction
This project was part of an assignment where the goal was to create a website on any topic, focusing primarily on structuring the content with HTML and styling it with CSS. I chose to design a website for RESCUE, a fictional nonprofit organization dedicated to helping and rehabilitating elephants in need.

Challenges
The main objective was to build a visually appealing and user-friendly site while adhering to fundamental web development principles. The project emphasized clean HTML structure, effective use of CSS for layout and design, and ensuring responsiveness for different screen sizes.
I wanted to create a website that highlights RESCUE's mission, provides a seamless user experience, and inspires visitors to take action in support of elephant conservation.
Solution
I started the project by conducting a competitive analysis and segment analysis to better understand how RESCUE could stand out. I also developed a simple brand identity, including a logo, typography, and visual style, to create a cohesive look and feel. Additionally, I analyzed the target audience and crafted texts and concepts designed to engage and inspire young people to volunteer with RESCUE.
I created a design concept that aligned with the brand's style guide, providing a fresh and modern look. We used high-quality images and videos to showcase the work, making them more visually appealing and engaging.
I optimized the website for mobile devices, ensuring that the user experience was consistent across all devices. I focused on providing a smooth and intuitive user experience, simplifying the navigation and reducing the number of clicks needed to access the primary features.

Results
The final website successfully captured RESCUE's mission and identity, with a clean and engaging design tailored to inspire volunteers. The combination of thoughtful branding, well-structured content, and a user-friendly layout resulted in a compelling digital presence. While the site was not officially launched, the project provided valuable experience in web design, from conceptualization to execution, with a strong focus on HTML and CSS.

Conclusion
This project was a valuable opportunity to combine web development and design to create a meaningful digital presence for RESCUE. By focusing on branding, audience engagement, and a well-structured website, I was able to craft a platform that effectively communicates the organization’s mission. The process reinforced my skills in HTML, CSS, and visual storytelling, highlighting the impact of thoughtful design in nonprofit initiatives.
